Joineries can be used alongside Crafting Materials to give unique buffs and bonuses when forging equipment in Soulframe. Joineries are different from the required crafting materials for each Weapon or Armor, as a Joinery can be chosen by the player to give different bonuses to a piece of equipment when forging. Joineries can be obtained similarly to regular crafting materials, as they can be found inside closed chests or as rewards for completing quests. Joineries can be used by interacting with the Blacksmith Tuvalkane after she has passed into Nightfold. 

The Blacksmith, Tuvalkane, can be unlocked by finishing The Steelsinger quest which immediately starts when you pick up a Blacksmith's Helm lying inside of a small crater. In this quest, you will carry a heavy helmet which makes you unable to retaliate against enemies that you encounter along the way. 

Joineries are essential crafting materials that can be found in many ways within Soulframe, much like the regular crafting components that you'll gather throughout your journey. These special items can often be hidden away in chests scattered across the game world, offering an extra sense of discovery and reward as you explore.

While you'll find Joineries in both rare and common chests, they may not always be easy to spot, so thorough exploration will be your go to.. Every chest you come across could hold valuable items, and it's important to check each one carefully. These materials may also be earned by completing quests, making it even more rewarding to tackle different challenges along the way.

Joineries are not the same as the standard crafting materials needed for weapons or armor. While crafting materials are needed for creating specific items, Joineries are more like optional modifiers that players can choose to enhance their equipment. They do not replace traditional materials but add an additional layer of customization. Some Joineries are purely for crafting and do not offer any buffs or effects. For example, Grey Gold and Tibalt Joineries are used solely for forging, with no added benefits. On the other hand, certain Joineries like Eldore come with powerful buffs that directly impact your character's stats or abilities.
